20 months!

As usual time is flying by!  Each day continues to get more and more fun!

For starters... Luke is talking so much and saying so many words its crazy...even putting words together!  There are several times a day that he will say a word or point at something that I had no clue he even knew...he is a little sponge right now.

He still loves books and balls :)  Otherwise he really doesn't care about too many of his toys...he would rather run around the house and jump off our ottoman (his pass time of choice ;)  Don't worry he is supervised...that little guy has no fear right now!  He loves to shoot hoops and play some football with his daddy!  I love to watch them just as much as adam loves to play!  ADORABLE!

He is really into elmo, bert and ernie...he is always asking to watch elmo...I think adam and I both have the videos memorized.  Luke has also picked up on snuggling...if we watch elmo and I ask if he wants to snuggle he will run and grab my favorite blanket and sit with me on the couch...really doesnt get any better than that!

I've said it before and i'll say it again...I absolutely love being Luke's mom!  There is nothing better and I am so thankful to have him in my life!  I can't even explain the joy he brings to us! :)

seriously love him soo much :)

we love doing fish face :)

So my baby is now 18 months old...oh how busy he is! :)  Each stage really does get more and more fun...and this is for sure my fav!  Luke is talking so much!  Everyday he surprises us with different words that I didn't even realize he knew!!  He really is a little sponge!  I really need to get better at updating this blog more again...

We had his 18 month appt last monday...he always seems to do really well at the dr. and is so cooperative. This was a pretty quick check-up...no shots!  He is in the 50% for height and weight! He is 32 1/4 in tall and weighs 25 lbs 11oz :)
We ended the appt with Luke giving the dr a high five and then he followed up with a quick wave and said bye bye! Oh how things change...too cute!

A few cute Luke things :)  (at least we think they are cute ;)

-he now does push-ups...he has seen adam do push-ups after working out and now luke does them too...adorable!
-we get kisses all the time!
-we figured out that if adam, Luke, and I sing opera then we can really get a good teeth brushin' in!
-Luke has told me that he loves me twice now...there seriously isn't anything better than that...SERIOUSLY!
-he likes to jump...aka "bounce" :) it is so cute to watch him try and work on his vertical...lol
-he all of the sudden is into towels...i'm not sure...but he is always saying towel and he wants to make sure he gets every washcloth out of the laundry basket when I am folding...whether it is to help me clean, cover his toys or wear it as a hat ;)  Today when I came home he kept calling my scarf a towel...hahaha
-he likes to pretend to go night night...and he likes us all to pretend...including baylee! (that includes fake snoring...by lukey too ;)
-he is such a little helper...he does such a good job at helping pick up his toys before bed

well this is just a few of the things I can think of...needless to say he is a TON of fun...and there really never is a dull moment...and we love every second of it!

Unfortunetly, Luke still doesn't let us get too many pics...but here are a few pics from christmas...

ELMO!!!!!!!!!!!

we had such a great christmas with all of our family!  we are very lucky to have everyone so close by :)  Luke loved being with everyone just as much as we did!

Our Christmas did start off a little scary though, the Thursday before Christmas my dad went into the hospital...he was having some chest pains the weekend before and his doctor wanted him to see a cardiologist...long story short he ended up in surgery on that Friday morning with 80% blockage on the left and 100% blockage on the right.  He had stents placed and all seems to be good ;)  THANK YOU GOD!  It was such a scary time...I know people always say "my dad or my aunt, etc... had that surgery it it will be fine" but it doesn't matter...it was "MY dad" and it didn't make the situation any easier!  I am just so thankful he is doing great and we were thrilled to have him come home christmas eve!  It was definitely the best christmas gift any of us could of asked for...just for us all to be together with one healthy dad :)  I LOVE MY FAM ;)
